Hello friends, have you come to know that starting from 2012, our NET exam will be all objective type, including Paper III? The syllabus remains the same. So, friends, have you started preparing for this? If yes, let us discuss how we should prepare. Paper III being objective will be very tough, I suppose, to crack. So, let's start the discussion.

Hey Pmon, I completed my computer course online, and we also had to prepare for objective questions. Our professor guided us in a way that we were reading and learning all the important points throughout the chapter. The very next day, the professor would give us a paper to solve, where we had to fill in the blanks, mark true or false statements, and answer multiple-choice questions, etc. This process continued until the examination, and we accumulated many answer sheets where almost all the lessons were covered. We studied from those answer sheets for the exam and achieved an A grade. You can also follow the same.

I am also an aspirant preparing to take the exam in June 2012. It seems like the paper might be relatively easy. How are you studying for it? Are you attending classes, studying at home, or have you ordered any course materials? We could discuss and share notes to enhance our understanding of the subject. What do you think?

Friends, it's nice to see that many of our friends are taking an interest in the discussion here. Yes, we can, of course, share and prepare for the NET, but the UGC website has not yet come up with the advertisement to date.

Referring to NamChauhan's post, I would say that I am going to do home-based preparation. I don't know how much that is going to help.

So, are there any more friends who are doing home-based study for the June NET? Please share what methods you are following.

Challenges of UGC-NET Subject Code 55

UGC-NET subject code 55 is not easy to crack. We can easily clear Papers 1 and 2 even without any preparation, but Paper 3 requires in-depth knowledge of every aspect included in the syllabus. For the general category, clearing this subject code is a really difficult task.

Objective Format Advantage

But now, this time, the 3rd paper is also objective. So, I think it's good for us to clear because earlier, the written exam was checked manually, and there was a probability of errors. But now it's objective, and the result will be accurate. They ask about the impact of trade unions, scope in India, conflict management, etc.

Preparation Tips

In a short time, go through the last 5 years' question papers of NET. You will get an idea, and simultaneously, you can prepare. Best of luck to all, including me, for the June 2012 exam.

Preparation for UGC NET Exam

UGC NET is not an easy exam to crack. It requires in-depth knowledge of the subject as questions can be asked from anywhere in the syllabus. It is relatively easy to clear Papers 1 and 2 if you have good common sense and general awareness about the subject. The main challenge comes with Paper 3, where high-level questions are asked. For instance, in subject code 55, questions may be like, "Which section of the ESI Act guides...". Unless we thoroughly review each point, act, and section, we cannot clear this exam.

The best approach is to study old question papers available on the UGC site.

I have recently taken the NET June 2012 exam. The third paper was objective, and most of the questions were related to labor laws. There were many questions regarding dates, years, and the names of prominent figures. The first paper was not tough.

I also took the NET exam last Sunday. Paper 1 was relatively easy to pass, and Paper 2 was fine as well. However, Paper 3 was quite challenging as it delved deep into knowledge about various acts. It's interesting to see what the outcome will be. Paper code 55 was particularly tough. How can one possibly learn all the intricate details of acts, especially when it's solely focused on labor law? The exam lasted from 9:30 to 4:00, making it a long and exhausting ordeal. Perhaps the exam duration should be shortened to just 3 hours, with the first paper being general and the second focusing on HR. Since the syllabus for Papers 2 and 3 was the same, it does raise the question of why they were tested separately. Best of luck with the results.
