Hi, I am a B.Tech graduate from 2009. For the past two years, I have been working as an IT recruiter. Now, I am looking to transition my career into an HR Generalist role. Currently, I am employed at an IT product organization where my manager is supporting me in learning HR Generalist responsibilities. I am involved in managing leave data, conducting inductions/training for new employees, and organizing regular employee engagement activities. However, I have not yet taken on the full responsibility of handling payroll.

I am unsure whether other MNCs would accept me as an HR Generalist without having experience in managing payroll. Should I pursue additional courses or an MBA to become eligible for such a role?

Try to do a distance MBA course. Most of the top companies might not consider Distant MBA, but small companies will consider. Best of luck.
