Your in and out data (signing in the register/punching, etc.), your PF and ESI contributions, your IP numbers and related data, offer letter, increment/promotion letters issued, your photographs in any company-related functions, emails received from the company, Form 16 issued by the company, etc., are all part of your employment proofs with the company.

Hi Mala, I too have a suggestion for your question. You can request a soft copy from your employer on the company letterhead stating that you have been working here since a specific date, along with your designation. Hope my suggestion helps you.

Do you feel companies rely on written material on letterhead? Actually, for the last 4 months, our salaries have been paid in cash. Before that, we used to receive salaries through cheques. The issue is that during interviews, companies request the last 6 months' bank statements. Please help.

You should insist that your employer provides you with the latest two months' payslips and a relieving letter after you quit the job. These documents play a crucial role when you are joining a new company because most companies hiring experienced individuals require the last two months' salary slips and a relieving letter from your previous employer. If you fail to provide either of these documents, you may be perceived as a fresher.
