Dear friends, please help me in drafting a letter to extend my joining date in Kerala PSC as I am working in the Middle East. I need an extension of leave for 6 months. The reason is that the present employer in the Middle East needs 3 or more months' prior notice to release me from the job. I hope someone can help me draft a nice letter.
Thanks

Composing a Letter to Kerala PSC for Joining Date Extension
Firstly, you are required to compose a letter informing Kerala PSC that you have been granted permission to join them after a period of 3 months or later because you are currently employed elsewhere and must adhere to a 3-month notice period with your current employer. However, the question arises about taking leave or requesting an extension of the joining date since you are not yet an employee with them but are seeking to delay your start date.
In your letter, you should express your enthusiasm about joining them while explaining that due to your current employment obligations, you are unable to leave before completing the 3-month notice period (provided that it has been fulfilled). Hence, you are seeking their approval to commence employment after the completion of this notice period, which aligns with the 3-month timeframe or any shorter period necessary for you to transition.
Additionally, you may include a reference to your current employer or supervisor and express the need for communication via telephone with your prospective employer.
Please ensure to maintain a professional tone and clarity in your communication.
