What should I do in case a future employer keeps extending my joining date due to lockdown? I have already left my previous organization and now I am jobless, waiting to join the new employer. They are also not willing to provide remote onboarding. The company is an Indian-based MNC.

Hi,
Be patient. In the current scenario, no employer will be able to hire even though it was pre-committed. You may wait until the end of the 'stay at home'. However, keep in touch with them.

There is nothing wrong by extending your joining date again and again due to lockdown by the employer. The current situation is like that and not only you but many others are under the cloud of uncertainty.
There is nothing left but to wait until the situation improves and get a call for joining. The situation may compel the employer to reschedule all new joinings or appointments. Please do not lose hope and pray to God that things get better soon.

Dear colleague,
The action of extending your joining shows their inability as well as genuine interest in hiring you. So have patience, be in touch with them, and have faith in God's blessings; when the time ripens, things will turn in your favor.
