Wishing you all a very happy and prosperous New Year first of all! I need some information on the documentation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification, with regards to:

1. What is the total number of documents we have to generate for the above certifications?
2. Which documents do we have to generate?
3. Where can I get the standards for the above?
4. Do we have to copy the documents of some other existing company of a similar kind?

Please, can anyone provide guidance on the above?

Thank you,

Ajay

The Importance of OHSAS 18001 Certification

An increasing number of organizations are completing OHSAS 18001 certification as employers are under increasing pressure to ensure that a rigorous health and safety policy is in place. This certification protects employees against possible occupational risks and reduces the likelihood of accidents in the workplace. By planning ahead, a company can also reduce the potential for medical and compensation claims.

Understanding ISO 14001 EMS

ISO 14001 EMS is known as an environmental management system standard, meaning that it is applicable to any size and type of organization, product, or service, in any sector of activity. It can accommodate diverse socio-cultural and geographic conditions. ISO 14001 standards help in minimizing the risk of regulatory and environmental liability while improving an organization's efficiency.
