Dear Seniors, I am a new joiner in citehr. I am working with an IT company having a manpower of about 90. I am a fresher, and there is no head HR in the company.

Annual Day Celebration Planning

My company wants to celebrate the Annual Day, and the whole responsibility is with me. Please suggest when and how I should do it so that it will be more effective and appreciated. Would it be effective if I celebrate it on the 31st of December?

Please guide me ASAP because I have to put ideas.

Firstly, you should know about the company budget. Then you can plan accordingly, such as organizing an amusement park visit, a trip to a resort, or arranging various activities. Another option is to plan a get-together where you can celebrate by cutting a cake with your company's director.

Thank you for your reply. My company can afford a hall and a good dinner. If I add some more expenses, that would also be okay. I was thinking of celebrating it on 31st Dec or Christmas Day. Is that a good plan? Please suggest something.

Hi Nayana may be on 31st December not most of the people wants to go as everybody was already decide their plans,in that you can add the dance party. with regards kavita kapoor

Hi Nayana, that will be a very great idea. You can do one thing: divide the people into two or three teams and tell them to create an advertisement. This can be one game. Then, you can have activities like blindfold games, musical chairs, or something similar in nature, and arrange the gifts accordingly. You can also include drum shell arts.
