If an employee is in the probation period and the confirmation report given by his/her HOD shows that his/her performance is good and should be confirmed, then HR is bound to issue the confirmation letter to that employee after the completion of the probation period.

Generally, a letter is issued whether confirmed or terminated when an employee's probation date is nearing expiration. If there is no communication from the employer's side, then it is deemed to be confirmed. An employee becomes permanent after the completion of probation.

Thank you.

Hi All, I agree with Ankit, but still, if the employee is not performing well up to expectations, then in that case, his/her probation period can be extended. He/she should be issued a letter in both cases, whether confirmed or extended.

Please inform me if an employee is on a 6-month probation period and will be confirmed after that probation. In this situation, should a confirmation letter be provided to these employees? The reporting boss is requesting a confirmation letter from your side.
