Therefore, first, examine which of the State or Central Acts, e.g., Factories Act, 1948, Minimum Wages Act, 1948, State Shops & Establishment Act, etc., is applicable in your case. Then, review the overtime provisions in that Act and the Rules to address your query.

Yes, Sir, as per your kind guidance, I tried to get information from the Factories Act 1948 but did not clarify what I needed. Our company is located in Gurgaon, Haryana. It is a Furniture & Fixtures Company, involved in metal/wood & glasswork.
