Hi All, these days, many people, especially freshers who have a lag in their academic performance, choose this option, which is sophisticatedly called "backdoor entry." I would like to solicit your opinions on what you think about this criterion.

Hi All, these days, people, especially freshers with comparatively low academic backgrounds, have found it convenient to get into MNCs through this sophisticatedly termed "Backdoor Entry." I would like to solicit your point of view on this system.

Please stay away from these scams. Companies hire talent that is trainable and employable. Stay focused on that. If the big ones have criteria difficult to meet, try the start-ups. They offer greater exposure and learning.
I don't want to sound high and holy, but a few grands less as a salary and working for no brand is far better than getting caught up in these Ponzi schemes.

My personal opinion is that selection should be based on merit, i.e., skill, talent, experience, knowledge, and many more factors, but not solely on academic marks secured. I have come across many talented people who have achieved very poor academic marks. Experts, what are your views?
Thank you.

I agree with you, but MNCs don't want to hire those who perform poorly in academics. I personally faced this situation when I was rejected by an MNC due to my low academic scores. I successfully completed all rounds of interviews but was ultimately turned down because of my academic performance. My academic percentages are as follows: SSC - 66%, Intermediate (+2) - 55%, Graduation (B.Com) - 44%, Post Graduation (MBA) - 72%.
