I am Uday, currently pursuing a PGDM from Core Business School in Indore. Can anyone tell me how to improve my dominance power and communication skills? Both of these are crucial for an HR manager, and I aspire to build my career in HRD. Please assist me.

You can improve your communication skills:
1. First of all, enrich your vocabulary. Learn good, new, impressive words for common conversation. Read magazines, newspapers, etc.
2. Command your writing capabilities in English as well.
3. Be expressive with friends, colleagues, and social groups effectively.
4. Learn presentation skills, postures, and an expressive manner for those you encounter in your social life, such as your ideals or others. Practice these skills in front of a mirror to gain confidence.
5. Form groups to practice impromptu sessions, group discussions, and role-playing to enhance your communication skills.
6. To establish dominance, first, be confident about your personality, expressions, postures, body language, and your way of addressing issues. You must start practicing; you will be groomed within a short span of time.

Mr. Mishra has given relevant suggestions. If you want to be effective, you have to respect yourself, your feelings, your personality, and your statements. One way is to grasp knowledge and wisdom as much as you can, be it any field. Don't be under anyone's influence. Practice your talk with confidence, calmly but firmly and to the point.
Please remember, change will happen gradually, not suddenly, so you need to have patience too.
All the best!

Improving Communication Skills and Dominance Power
Watch BBC news and try to listen to English songs. Don't just listen; also try to understand them. The same goes for English movies—this will help develop your accent and understanding of difficult words.
Read newspapers, journals, and magazines—this will increase your vocabulary and writing skills.
Talk with your friends in English—this will improve your communication skills faster.
Try to participate in interviews or presentations—this will reduce your fear of speaking in front of others and help you face challenges posed by interviewers or opponents, which is important for your career.
