Hi, just wanted to know about the new GR regarding 180 days of maternity leave for aided and non-aided schools in Maharashtra. Is this applicable to me? I'm working in a private government-recognized school in Vasai (W) for the last 10 years. I am being told that the rule does not apply to me. How far is this statement true, and if true, on what basis?

I have experienced a miscarriage before, so the doctor has advised me to take bed rest. I am concerned about whether I will receive any benefits under the Maternity Act or if I will lose my job.
