Dear Sudha.Acharya
Enclose find Workmen/employees Compensation calculator for calculating compensation in case of death, Permanent Total Disablement, Permanent Partial Disablement (Covered under Schedule I and not covered under Schedule I).
I think it will help u.
Enter only Serial Number mentioned against List of Injuries Sheet in place of NATURE OF INJURY AS PER LIST OF INJURY SHEET (ENTER SL.NO ONLY).
U r free to ask for any further queries related to use of this calculator.

hi ,
The contractor is responsible for the payment of compensation as per the contract labour Act.
In case the contractor fails to pay then the principal employer shall be liable to make the compensation to the contract labour employed by the contractor. The amount can be recovered from contractor either by deduction from any amount payable to the contractor under any contract or as a debt payable by the contractor.
I hope it helps u.

Thanks a lot Mr Khola for your valuable guidance.
Mr. Jawed Alam's Compensation calculator is really helpful.
Thanks A lot.
It will be great if you can provide me with the Updated ECA with all the amendments incorporated.
Also please confirm that if an employee is covered under ESIC, is he eligible for any compensation under ECA in case of death?
Apart from the ESIC Pension, what other benefits his family can get under diff. labour laws. we have covered him for GPA upto Rs. 2.00 lacs. will this be included in the total compensation payable under ECA to the deceased employee ?
Please guide!

Dear Sir,

Want to ask whether the amt. of Rs.8000/- will be for per month basis or one time payment in the mentioned matter. If it is per month basis then what would be the limit.
