Our Company have 3 types of leave CL-10.EL-10,& PL-10.If any employee applied 7 days continue leave,how I will deduct. Thanking You Saikat Roy

Hi Any one suggest me as per company act 1956 what is the CL EL AND MEDIVAL RULE apart from how EL calculate and in cash or adjusted .

Hi Anjali,

The leave policy needs to be prepared based on the provisions of the Shop & Establishment Act. According to the Karnataka Shop & Establishment Act, an employee is eligible for PL (1 leave for every 20 working days) and CL/SL (1 leave per month). PL can be carried forward for up to 30 days, while CL/SL will lapse every year in December.

It is important to maintain Form F & H for leave records.

If employee’s LWP on 1st, 2nd Public Holiday, 3rd Leave - how many days to consider total leave, 3 or 2?
