Formation of HR Policy
The formation of HR policy depends on the company structure, management strategy, budget, number of employees, salary structure, etc. There are certain basic policies for compliance with various acts and to avoid employee disputes, such as policies on leave, attendance, recruitment, appointment, appraisal, travel, separation, reimbursement, LTA, etc. In the case of a large number of employees, a significant budget, and a management approach that is employee-friendly, there could be more policies like loans, occasional celebrations, staff promotions, accidents, employee grievances, etc.
First, you have to choose which basic policies you want to implement in your company. I would suggest starting with basic policies and then, based on your experiences and employee feedback, implementing other policies. Keep the policies updated according to prevailing norms and company requirements.
