Hi all seniors,
Please guide me for the next course of action.
My service was terminated in 2006. I submitted my PF application form (duly attested by the Bank Manager) to withdraw my accumulated PF amount. EPF authority returned the form along with my application to the employer for their signature.
My queries are:
As there is a paragraph in the form either to be attested by the establishment officer/gazetted officer/bank manager, then why did the EPF authority return the form to the establishment for their signature? Is it mandatory that the form has to be signed by the employer? Then why is space allotted for a gazetted officer/bank manager?
Before submitting the form, I went to the EPF office, and they advised me that when the employee and employer relation is ceased, you can submit the form attested by the bank manager.
I fail to understand why the EPF authority sent the form to the employer. I applied for my own money, which has been deposited by the employer to the EPF authority.
Please let me know the further action to get my hard-earned money.
Thank you all.

Dear Sir,
For the transfer of the account as mentioned earlier, Form 13 is to be filled out and submitted through the present employer.
Regarding non-attestation, it should be attested by the employer if submitted after one year of leaving the job. If the employer is not attesting, one must request attestation from the employer through RPFC, stating the reason for the lack of attestation.
In the event of a delay, even if RPFC's Enforcement Officer is not providing attestation, one may seek relief through the Consumer Court.
