Hi everyone!
I have some ideas about HR manuals, and I was previously in the manufacturing industry. Recently, I switched over to the IT field. Can anyone please provide a model (not an exact copy) of an HR manual used in the IT industry? What are the variances we can implement in the IT field compared to manufacturing industries?
Thanks & regards,

Greetings!
Thank you for sharing this handbook. It gives me an idea about the differences between the two industries. However, I have one small doubt. Don't we have any disciplinary procedures here in IT companies? Kindly share your thoughts and views.
Regards and thank you once again.

There will be disciplinary procedures if you set it up. The indiscipline could be towards a number of issues ranging from sexual harassment to stealing of data. However, the disciplinary procedures may not be similar to what you have in the manufacturing industry.

Hi friends, I am a beginner in the HR field. Can you explain what spread over time is and what compensatory holidays are? What are the circumstances that lead management to give these holidays to employees?
Another query is regarding the Factories Act, where we are required to provide annual leave with wages to employees in two cumulative situations. One of these is if the employee works for 20 continuous days during the year, they should be eligible for one day of leave in the succeeding year. In this context, what does "succeeding year" mean, and how is this calculation done?
