Hi, in my previous company, I had ESIC. However, my problem is that I do not have any ESIC number with me right now. I am now joining another company. Please advise me on what I should do. Should my previous ESIC number work, or will I get a new ESIC number?

Hi,
Either you collect your insurance number from your previous company and provide it to the new company where you have joined. If that is not possible, proceed with obtaining a new insurance number by filling out a declaration form.
One drawback of filling out a new declaration form is that you would not be able to avail of the contribution benefits from your previous company to which you have contributed.

Mohan

Dear Navin ji,
It seems your company is deducting the employer's share of ESIC & PF from your salary, which is totally wrong and not in accordance with the law. Hope you are not making a mistake in understanding the term salary and misunderstanding the term CTC.
Local tax (PT) is not deducted as applicable in AP. I suppose you are from Hyderabad.
