WORKING HOURS, HOLIDAY AND LEAVE
BUSINESS HOURS: -Regular office hours are Monday through Saturday, 10:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. with a 30 minutes lunch break.
Due to the nature of their work Call Centers are manned 24 hours through shift duties. The timings while remaining 8 hours may be implemented in different circles as per local/regional business hours.
PAID HOLIDAYS
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS: -Public holidays are the days on which the company provides employees time away from work to celebrate certain days of importance based upon customs, history and local traditions important to specific circle.
10 public holidays during a calendar year are announced in advance that are applicable to the respective circles/entities based on the Holiday list released by the respective circles / entities based on the Holiday list released by the respective State Government.
LEAVE POLICY
ELIGIBILITY: -All confirmed employees in the rolls of Reliance communication.
ENTITLEMENT: -All employees are entitled to an EARNED LEAVE of 38 days in a calendar year, which is inclusive of Casual Leave, Optional Leave and Earned Leave.
In addition to this, the employees are also entitled to 10 days of sick leave in a calendar year.
In a calendar year, out of 38 days, 7 days can be availed without any prior approval, while the remaining leave can only be availed after prior approval.
Any leave in access of one week has to be submitted at least 15 days in advance, unless it is being availed due to medical reasons.
ACCUMMULATION: -
Unavailed leave can be carried forward, subject to a maximum limit of 240 days.
ENCASHMENT: -
Earned leave that gets accumulated beyond 3 years is encashment at the CTC rate. The amount will be as per IT rules.
Encashment of the Earned Leave due to employee separation will be done at the basic pay rate, on any leave that has been accumulated for less than three years.

As per labour law after completition on 240 working days (excluding Sundays, Holidays & etc) you should give 21 days leave .
In normal process you give 6 C L after completition of 6 Months probation Period (1 for Each month) & 21 PL after completition of 240 days (normaly 10 months)
Suppose if any employee joined on 1.01.07 then CL will credited in 30.06.07 & 21 PL in Oct,06.

thanks to both of you for reapplying me .but can you send me some more leave policies of some more organization so that i can prepare my self to give the examples to my organization.if you can do so,it will be more helpful to me.
