Hi,

I am Trupti, newly joined at a pharma company. I am seeking information on HR policies for both back office staff and field staff, as well as details on salary formulation. Specifically, I would like to understand how to calculate salaries for these two groups of employees.

Please feel free to share the details with me. You can reach me via email at Trupti.jadhav17@gmail.com.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Regards,
Trupti

Hi Nyk100985, you are really a cunning man, buddy. You should immediately leave this forum. It's a platform where people can share their knowledge and help each other, unlike you — a gold digger. You have nothing to do with this forum.

Hi,

I recently joined a Medical Transcription company as an HR. They also have a software development team. Currently, they do not have PF and ESI deductions in place. What is the procedure to set up these deductions? Are PF and ESI deductions mandatory?

As a newcomer to HR, I would appreciate your guidance on this matter.

Please reply to me at himabinduramineni@gmail.com.

Dear Ms. Trupti,

To find out HR policies for Field Staff and for Back Office Staff, I would suggest you conduct a survey of pharma companies of your size. From the survey, you will learn about the compensation paid to field staff, back office staff, and HR policies governing field staff, etc.

I am working in a Pharma Company in Mumbai. You can contact me via email at anilkhot67@rediffmail.com for further information.

Thanks,

When an HR professional develops policies for their company, true learning occurs. The development of a policy is equivalent to ten years of implementing the same. Policy development should start from scratch, and during this process over a two-month period, I found a purpose in my life and felt a sense of career accomplishment.

Policies vary between companies based on factors such as employee strength, minimum guarantees, market position, and challenges faced. Policies are also adopted department-wise, leading to both general policies and specific policies. Even sister concerns in the same location may have differing policies.

Hi, I am also working in a pharmaceutical company. I too want some knowledge regarding HR policies in Pharma companies. As far as salary formulation is concerned, we do have software for that, in which I just enter the number of days and all relevant data. Salary and expenses for the month are calculated.

Waiting for your feedback :)

(Fact Checked)-The mention of using software for salary calculation is correct, but it's essential to ensure the software aligns with legal requirements like minimum wage laws, deductions, and taxes. (1 Acknowledge point)
