Dear Friends,

We plan to give our employees anniversary gifts, meaning that all employees who complete a year with us will receive a gift. Can anyone suggest what the nature of the gift could be? Unfortunately, it cannot be a gift voucher as the budget is approximately Rs. 300. If you have given similar gifts in your companies, please share your suggestions.

Gifts like bags, sacks, t-shirts, and watches have already been given, so we are looking for something different. We are seeking a gift that can also help in branding our company.

Dear Suvarna,

We used to give mementoes to employees who have completed a few years of service with us. You can engrave your company's name on it. It can be made of silver or any other metal based on your budget. You can also engrave a few lines to appreciate their efforts. These gestures help in branding the company as well.

Dear Suvarna,

The best idea I can think of is giving a movie ticket to the couple if they are married. You could also consider sending a greeting card to their place for their anniversary or birthday. Additionally, you can have a small party at your office if your number of employees is not large. If there are many employees, consider celebrating or cutting a cake in that particular department.

Dear Suvarna,

I suggest taking a photograph of his/her family and making that print come on a coffee mug with your company logo written as "successful completion of a year". This could be different and special, which can be remembered for many years about the company. This would not cost more than $300 exactly.

At our company, we have a policy where we bring cake not costing more than Rs. 150/-, and we provide a movie ticket for a couple for an evening show (the ticket should not exceed Rs. 300/-). You can customize it as per your company's requirements.

Stationery (pen sets, pen holders, etc.) with the company logo and employee name (to add a personal touch!) Coffee mugs with logo. All these gifts are decent and yet within the budget.

Company's logo as a memento in original colors made of acrylic is also a good idea, which also shows the brand image of the company. Employees' names, company name, year, etc., are to be inscribed on it.

I would like to suggest:

1. A travel bag with your company logo, it will be very useful. I think you can get nice quality for Rs. 300 itself if you get it in bulk.
2. Movie tickets or a dinner for two.
3. Gift vouchers for shopping malls like Forum, Westside.
