Hi,

I did my SMRs on performance appraisal. Here, the company conducts performance appraisals based on the difference between actual and desired performance. The company identifies the difference and decides whether the employee needs training, promotion, or transfer.

Hi All,

The feedback provided by Autumn Jane and Ed Llrena is very important to understand the concept of the subject, as that's how performance appraisal procedures are conducted. The performance appraisal should be constructive, and the employee should always trust and follow the supervisor's comments as that's a "mirror that reflects where you went wrong - weakness and did the best - strength."

The key performance area differs from one job to another. The KPA should be with reference to your objectives/goals, which have a weightage in percentage and are achievable. Each task you do should indicate that you are on track with your objectives and goals.

Dear Autumn,

This is a very valuable contribution you have made. Can I request you to please also attach the appraisal format for easy understanding? It is a little difficult to understand the references made to page numbers, etc.

Thanks and regards,
Kuntal
