Hi, Please try this method:
1. Have the structure of the Excel file similar to the DBF file structure.
2. Save the Excel file as a text file.
3. Use the blank DBF file with the required structure.
4. Else, create one with the above structure.
5. Append the text file (indicate the exact name with the path).
Saving the Excel file as DBF may not work in a dBASE software sometimes. Hence, try the above method.

The easiest way to convert an Excel file to a DBF is as follows:
1. Don't worry about the content format of the Excel file unless you need it to be structured in a specific format.
2. Don't have the Excel file open when you do the next few steps.
3. Open Microsoft Access.
4. Create a new or blank database and name the file.
5. Once you have done this, go to File > Get External Data > Import on the top taskbar.
6. A new import screen will open up, and all you need to do is change the file import format at the bottom of the dialogue box. Then select the file you want to import and click OK.
7. Follow the on-screen prompts.
8. Finally, to get the .mdb Access file to .dbf, go to File > Export > choose file format from the drop-down dialogue box, and select DBF. VOILA!
