Dear Mr. Gupta & Mr. Agarwal,

Greetings to you for your contributions to our great India! You may find the work environment different from the military, but you can certainly manage an administrative job well. Some employers prefer to hire personnel from the defense sector, especially for HR & Admin roles, due to traits such as punctuality, dedication, and loyalty. It's an opportunity to learn and adapt to corporate culture.

Wishing you all success.

How are defence personnel different from other civilians? Is 20+ years of military service functioning in HR and general computer environment okay for fetching a challenging and rewarding job? What is the corporate world looking for?

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

Dear Mr. Krishna,

I did not understand your point clearly. Whether you are curious to know how a defense personnel could be different from a civilian with 20+ years of experience at his hand, I think he would be more humane, practical, strong, and firm in his actions, which will be well-justified and within the framework of his organization's rules. The highest level of integrity, loyalty, service before self, teamwork, leadership, delivery, dedication, and a sense of belonging... these are built-in traits you could trace in any retired personnel.

I hope this information will suffice your question. Please revert if you still desire more information.

Regards,
Ram Gupta

Hi Mr. Ram Gupta,

I have the highest regard for the Indian Defence personnel. It is just a matter of putting my questions in the right perspective. Anyway, I would love to converse with you regarding this. I again assert that in no way am I questioning the loyalty and other traits you quoted. Hope you understand.

Thank you. My sincere apologies if you are hurt.
