HR Compliance in Ahmedabad: What Registers and Returns Should We Maintain and When?

Hello Everyone,

I work as an HR Executive in a reputed firm in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. I want to know which type of registers/returns are to be kept/maintained in the HR department as per the rules under which act/rule, with details of the last submission date under which authority (Monthly Returns/Quarterly Returns/Half-Yearly Returns/Yearly Returns).

Hi all,

I am new to this group. I am working as an HR with a BPO/KPO industry. We are planning to implement an online system for keeping the employees' personal files through soft copies in a scanned manner. I request all your help to understand which documents are mandatory to be kept in a firm under the Shops and Establishment Act for the employee file as a hard copy. Also, is it legally valid to keep all files only in a scanned format in our database?
