Thanks for the reply. But these are technical questions na. How can a recruiter know these in detail? Many a times even bcom grads are working as IT recruiter. How would they know these?

for It recruiter generaly they hire bca graduate or candidate who have knoweldge of these languages.
else they can also provide training to freshers if candidate dont have technical background.
but if you are going for interview then search on net else u can mail me ur queries

Hi Jyothi,
one you start working as an IT recruiter, you will come across various technologies. Just don't match the skillset and the JD provided to you. Do some homework. Brows the net and try to get information on various technologies. Start from the basics.You will benefited.

Hi Jyoti,
A few things which you can ask is:
a. what is the process followed by the recruiter for chasing the requirements.
b. what are the sources of getting the resumes and what does he does after getting the resumes.
c. how can he make out which resumes are genuine and non-genuine (fake resumes, manipulated experience, education qualification, etc...)
d. how can he make sure that the candidate joins at the given date. how does he builds the rapport with the candidate.
These are a few but very basic questions asked to a recruiter especially in IT sector.

Hi Smith,

For above all the questions ans. will be different from each member's perspective. But i can suggest you few things from my side are.

1) Offer them nice salary, Added advantage of being shift to another place and find more oppertunity to work, Sell companies current prjects detail (if you have).

2) To close 3 position in a day is only possible to schedule Walk- in and try to complete all the levels of interview at the same day. Try to compelet basic screening from your side.

3) The process or phase of creating software is called software development, once the software has been created and ready to provide for end users, we test the software with the requirements. Software testing is an execution of a program with the intention of finding bug.

4) Sell companies name to them as well a try to lok at the profiles who are earing less than the yrs of expericne they have.

Hope my suggestions may help you and other's some where...please add your suggestions and expert comments for this. Even i also would like to have quality driven duscission on this questions.
