Occupational Health Requirements for Factories
As per the Tamil Nadu Factories Rules, 1950, a factory carrying out hazardous processes and employing 51 to 200 workers must have an occupational health center with a part-time doctor who visits the factory twice a week. The doctor's services should be readily available during medical emergencies.
