Hi, my background verification has failed. Please suggest a solution. Here are the details: I have recently resigned from an organization after a very short tenure and am now trying to join Cognizant. I can't provide Form 16 to the new employer immediately as it will be generated after the end of the financial year.
Additionally, my current organization has exempted PF, and its PF is maintained by a trust, not by EPFO. However, the BGV team is requesting an EPFO PF statement, which I don't have. Please suggest a solution for this issue.

The reasons for the failure of the Background Verification (BGV) are not clear. You can submit a bank statement to prove that you received a salary from a particular organization. Secondly, if there is a PF trust, then you may go back to the ex-company and ask them to provide a certificate that provides details of the PF trust.
Nevertheless, both grounds do not appear to be genuine. What if the candidate does not work in a company that provides a PF facility? Does it mean that Cognizant will not hire such persons?
