Hello Experts, Please guide as to will Employees covered under ESIC get any benefit since due to LOCKDOWN, companies are not paying them the salary (full/half/Nil).

So far as I know, ESI being an unemployment insurance benefit due to the absence of the subscriber/employee caused by sickness/accident, I don't think that loss of employment due to any other reason can be covered by it.
