I just wanted to bring into notice about an incident that has happened with me in XXX India. As of now, I'm terminated from the company after working for 1 and a half years. 28th Feb 2020, was my last working day. The termination was due to BGV, in which they found a discrepancy in one of my relieving letter (three months difference) of my last to last company which was uploaded in the portal in their portal along with my all other documents before joining the company
How this one relieving letter got uploaded was a human error, but as soon as I realised the relieving letter uploaded was wrong I informed the HR who was in charge of my recruiting and sent her the right document. Then I cleared my interview. And on the day of onboarding, I produced the same documents which were sent to HR. After 6 months of my probation, I was confirmed and even I worked in the client site for 3 months and all my work was appreciated.
Suddenly after working more than 1 and a half year, BGV team called me and informed that there is some discrepancy in one of my document (relieving letter). I was shocked, I told them I've already submitted the right document before joining but they are not ready to buy any of my statements and declared that I've done forgery.
I discussed this with my managers, directors and they were all surprised with such an action. They were all in my support they know my work ethic and how I am. They are saying it is an unfortunate incident that has happened to me. Management was not ready to accept my clarification, they are just with their policies and ethics. I understand the policies and ethics but if it was informed to me within 3 months of joining, still I would have considered.
I'm wondering, how can a company like XXX paralyse a person's life not even given a humanity consideration. I'm a father of three children and several other commitments too in my life. If I wanted to do forgery intentionally, I would never send the right documents to HR and all this document process happened before I joined XXX. I don't know how will I get a job with this termination letter. All my experience got paused with this! They had not even given a chance to put down my paper too. And just for such a silly reason, they terminated me. This is totally unfair to any employee like me.
What is your suggestion on this?

Dear member,
You have written that "How this one relieving letter got uploaded was a human error, but as soon as I realized the relieving letter uploaded was wrong I informed the HR who was in charge of my recruiting and sent her the right document. Then I cleared my interview."
How did you inform HR about human error? How did you send her the right document? Do you have any evidence of the communication that took place?
If you have evidence of the communication then I recommend you write a letter to the MD of the company. In the meanwhile I recommend you filing a complaint to the labour office under whose jurisdiction your company falls in. To know the addresses of the labour office, you may click here to refer to another thread of this forum.

Thanks Dinesh for taking time and reply to my concern.
As you asked, "How did you inform HR about the human error? How did you sent her the right document? Do you have any evidence of the communication that took place?"
To this my answer is Yes, i've emailed the revised document over the email and that email was shared when this issue was popped up.
And also i've written email to the India CEO stating the same. He has replied back saying "I believe you have reached out already through various different channels. The team will get back if there is merit in your case"
Shall i go ahead and complaint in labour office?

Dear member,
Yes, I recommend you file a complaint at the labour office. These are the times of lockdown because of the Coronavirus, nevertheless, let the complaint be listed in the labour office.
Thanks,
