sri-ch1Hi Seniors, I have previously worked for a X software company and quit due to personal reasons and took up another job after few months in Y company (however with less salary and it was BPO industry) and worked for 4-5 months. Recently another software company Z offered me a job with better salary like X. I did not disclose about Y company with Z (new company).
My queries are basically,
1. Will the new employer (Z) come to know about Y company which I did not disclose during creation of EPF account as I provided only X company's UAN ? (actually Y company have also created a new UAN account for me which is different than X company)
2. Will the new employer (Z) check the TDS filings made by Y company during their monthly/quarterly TDS filings ?
3. Will the new employer (Z) finance dept or HR dept come to know about the previous company's via EPF or TDS deposits against my PAN or AADHAAR??
Really appreciate if I can get some clarity on these areas..having sleepless nights because these questions.
Thank you so much in advance..cheers!

Not clear as to why you have not disclosed about Y Company with Z Company. It is always advisable to right facts about your previous employer to new employer to avoid future embarrassments.
With regard to UAN number the chances of Y company allotting new UAN number to you was very remote as nowadays Aadhar ,PAN are linked to UAN, new employer will not be able to generate new UAN.
Yes your Z employer can view the Employer histories of X and Y if they would have tried to generate UAN and should have error message about the existing UAN number with employer details. With regard to TDS the same will reflect in your FORM 16 and if you submit the same with your new employer z to club both Y and Z income. ( which means if you have joined in the middle of financial year after serving with Y employer)
Now that happened is happened you have two chances either to disclose to your Z employer about Y employer or leave as it is there are chances of it might left unattended as well.
Learn from the above lesson and please do not repeat the same mistake in future.

Thank you for your response. Sure sir...I will make sure not to repeat this mistake ever again.
One last query, My original UAN from X company is still active as per EPFO and now have a new UAN as recent company Y have also created a new UAN. However you mentioned that the new employer will try to create another UAN..Can I suggest to my new employer to use the original UAN number instead of creating new one, to avoid disclosure of company Y and create further confusion with new employer. As I don't want to disclose this with new employer and move on with my life.
Thank you for all your inputs..do clarify on the above please..
Your first UAN is only the original one afterwords you can create N numbers of UAN but your contribution gets credit in original one means First employment UAN.
So better you have to avoid creating new UAN's because it create problem during your withdrawal process.
