Are we eligible under the Contract Labour Act? Do we need to be covered under the Contract Labour Act as a principal employer, or do we require the same license from Aasaanjob.com? If the act is applicable in our industry, please suggest supporting documents.

Dear Member,

If your outsourcing agency is employing fifty or more contract workers to conduct your business operations, then you are required to have Registration Certificate (RC) under the Contract Labour (R&A) Act, 1970 and the rules made thereunder. Your contractor must also hold a license under this Act.
