Dear Seniors,
I have doubts with respect to how EL and Sick Leaves are allotted and calculated for new joiners. Can anyone explain briefly which leaves are mandatory to be given, how and when are they given. How to keep a track of them?

For leave entitlement you need to follow what is stipulated in the ACT. If your Organisation fall under the purview of Shops and Establishment Act you need award leaves as per the Act. If your company come under the purview of Factories Act then please refer Factories Act.
You may keep separate leave card for all employees and tracking can be done through separate excel file.
