I have been working almost 3 + years in HR field, I have completed my MBA in HR specialization. What I feel is I am almost doing the same things over the years. Is there any possibility to boost my career in HR field in current situation? What are basic steps I can take to improve my professional career? Should I go for certification, or membership, or magazine which will help to know next level of HR holistically??? I have seen lots of post in cite HR mostly very old, I dont know how relevant they are in current scenario, kindly guide me.

As per my opinion; you should focus on your professional goal. choose certificate / professional training and other based on your professional career goal.
If you like to become HR Head than improve functional knowledge of HR and improve knowledge related All HR Skills.
If you like to become head of any organization than improve Financial, internal process, sales & marketing and learning knowledge. this is toughest one.
Choose wisely and achieve your goal passionately, start reading, start participating in knowledge community and start doing help to other to validate your knowledge.
Don't depend on life to mold your career. focus aggressively on your professional goals. Be subject expert in any HR topic
