Hi,
I worked for a small company that closed in December 2015. The company stated my relieving date as December 2015, but the project actually ended in November 2015. Consequently, the experience letter from the company shows November 2015 as the end date. My current employer is now questioning this discrepancy. Can my previous employer authorize and revise the experience letter?

Dear Shrishaikatti,
If your company has closed, how will you be able to get rectification done on your letter? If there is a possibility, you can inform your employer that the error was due to a typo, and you will rectify it with your previous employer and submit a new copy. I believe that will solve the problem.
