Mandatory PF Contribution When Changing Jobs

If a person contributing to the PF scheme changes their job, is it mandatory for them to opt for PF even if their basic salary exceeds the specified limit?

Opening a New PF Account

If yes, is it possible to open a new PF account for the employee? What is the procedure?

Non-Deduction of PF Declaration

If no, is it required to collect a signed declaration from them for non-deduction of PF? If yes, please share the format if any.

For example, in my company, there are a few employees who are not contributing towards PF, and their Basic + DA is more than the specified limit. I have been instructed to get a declaration signed from all those employees who fall under this category as it's mandatory.

If an employee has PF in his previous company, then he will be covered in your company as well.

If an employee joins and his salary is above the limit and it is his first employment, then you need to get a declaration in Form 11.
