New PF Declaration Form by EPFO

Please find the PF declaration newly introduced by EPFO, downloaded from the PF portal. It appears that this form replaces Form 11 and Form 13. EPFO has recently uploaded this form on the portal without providing any direction, instruction, or circular on this matter. As of today, PF officials are unaware of this form.

Thank you.

Kindly tell us when it will be implemented because we recently put a few employees under PF, and we took their details in the old PF Form 2. So, do we need to fill in the details from October 2014 as well in the new updated PF Form 2?

Thanks

As of the current date, there is no guideline provided by EPFO regarding this form, except for the mention at the top - "To be retained by the Employer for future reference."

In my initial post, I mentioned that it appears this form is intended to replace Form 11 and Form 13. It appears to me that this form is not meant to replace Form 2. Currently, the PF officers seem to be unaware of this form, as I mentioned earlier.

Thank you.

The respective form is in place of Form No. 11 and Form No. 13, but if the employee holds a UAN number and declares the same, the present employer will have to link with it. Please ensure that the declaration is signed by both the employer and employee.

Furthermore, an SMS was sent by EPFO to the respective mobile number regarding the declaration. In my view, no notification is required.

Thank you.
