not eligible is a wrong answerfrom p.f dept. U have not mentioned his service in ur long he was paying not mentioned...pls open gpf mail and as k ur question feed back.....
Not paying company contribution is a wrong policy.....give the worker eligible leave and pay ur company contribution....
If the employee is a regular contributor of p.f.....dont bother of two months payments...if any p.f employee said like that is a half knowledged....shoot him out....go ahead through p.f netwebsite....ok....the employee family will get pension also...

The EDLI scheme benifits is linked to the average of the balance in PF account.
There is nothing in the scheme that provides for termination of benifits for not paying contribution few months before death.
i think it would be a good idea for you to visit the main PF office and speak to the PRO. If that is not helpful, you can meet the regional commissioner and complain against this. They are always pretty helpful.
