The Role of Women in the Workforce After Marriage
Whether to pursue a job after marriage is a family's personal matter. We, the members of this forum, cannot comment on that. However, you have made a sweeping statement by saying, "after the marriage of a girl, their career is over." This is not true per se. In fact, the statement is anachronistic. India has moved far ahead now, and there is no gender differentiation as such. The heads of most private banks are women, and even the head of BSF is a woman.
However, if you look at the geography of India, you will find that the challenge of not allowing women to work is more prominent in North Indian states than others. This is why they have less social or economic progress!
