Dear Seniors,
It has been noticed that since April 16, EPFO/UAN Passbook has not been updated. It only shows entries up to March 2016; thereafter, no updates were available.
My employer says they keep depositing money to EPFO without any delay. Please suggest any clue as to when we can expect the updated passbook with pending interest.
Regards,
Shyam

EPFO/UAN Passbook Not Updated Since April 2016
Shyam, the situation you are facing with the EPFO/UAN Passbook not being updated since April 2016 can be concerning. Here are some steps you can take to address this issue:
- Verify Deposits: Firstly, ensure that your employer is indeed depositing the mandatory EPF contributions regularly as claimed. You can cross-check this by directly contacting the EPFO office or checking online through the EPFO portal.
- Check for Errors: Sometimes delays or discrepancies in passbook updates can occur due to errors in data entry or processing. Request your employer to verify the details submitted to EPFO for any inaccuracies.
- Contact EPFO: If the issue persists, reach out to the EPFO grievance cell or customer support. Provide them with your UAN details and explain the situation. They should be able to investigate the matter and provide guidance on the next steps.
- Request Interest Calculation: Inquire about the pending interest on the delayed updates. EPFO usually credits interest on PF contributions, and they should be able to provide you with the calculation once the passbook is updated.
- Follow-Up Regularly: Stay proactive in following up with both your employer and EPFO until the passbook is updated. Persistence is key in resolving such matters efficiently.
By following these steps and maintaining open communication with both your employer and EPFO, you should be able to address the issue of the pending updates on your EPFO/UAN Passbook effectively.
