Function & business is running under SPV with West Bengal Govt in West Bengal and having reg. office in West Bengal whether Mother corporate office is in Bangalore, All the employees working in West Bengal are under payroll of mother company and being paid from Mumbai. we have trade license for the said company formed in West Bengal. Which Shop & Establishment Act will be applicable? Is it mandatory to take registration under Shops & Establishments for West Bengal office from West Bengal authority?

Geographical location of the establishment from where it actually functions is the ultimate criterion for applicability of the Shops and Establishments Acts. In the first place, When the registered office is located in West Bengal, Trade licence having been obtained from West Bengal and all employees are working in West Bengal, how the question has arisen I am not able to understand.Secondly, what do you mean by " Mother Corporate Office "? Is it the promoters' office?
