Dear sir,

I have resigned from my company, and my employer has not credited several months of PF deductions. I have applied for PF withdrawal. However, after withdrawing my PF, my PF account is still active. If my employer credits the pending amount into my PF account, I will need to make a second withdrawal. Please provide me with your suggestions.

Thank you.

Do you have PF statements?

Have you got a UAN number for your PF account? Work out how much the company has deducted and how much credit is there in your account. You can find out if some contribution has been deposited with the PF commissioner or not.

Checking Your PF Balance and Withdrawal Process

Don't worry; the money in your PF account is always safe. First, check how much balance you have and then initiate the withdrawal. There are two ways you can check your balance:

You can check your current EPF balances here: http://www.epfindia.com/site_en/KYEPFB.php or you can give a missed call to [Phone Number Removed For Privacy Reasons] from your registered phone number.

Initiating a PF Withdrawal

You can initiate a withdrawal via the company or on your own. Here's the criteria:

1) If you go two months without employment, you are eligible to withdraw 100% of your PF balance.

2) If you withdraw the PF balance before completing five years of service and if the PF settlement is equal to or exceeds Rs.30,000, you will be subject to a TDS of 10% with a PAN card and 34.608% without a PAN card at the time of settlement.

Visit the PF website to claim your PF. To know more, visit: http://quikchex.in/provident-fund-india-guide/
