Hi Everyone, I completed my MBA last year and am working as an HR Recruiter in a consulting firm. I have 1.5 years of experience in IT/Non-IT recruitment, but now I want to learn more about HR Operations/Generalist profiles. I have no knowledge of HR generalist profiles. Can you suggest any courses or resources that can help me gain experience and learn all HR Operations? I have applied on Naukri portals but have not received any calls for generalist roles. Please help me out.

Hi Kanika, you hold a master's degree in HR, so there is no need for you to pursue any other full-fledged course just to learn HR operations because an MBA covers it all! Moreover, experience is the best training of all!
Career Path in HR Generalist Profile
The best way is to keep applying for management trainee jobs at the HR generalist level. There are lots of HR profiles that have a 70:30 ratio scenario, where 70% is recruitment and 30% is handling joining formalities, regularizing attendance, and assisting in exit formalities. This type of job would suit you best at this juncture to make an entry into the HR generalist profile.
If you are updated with statutory compliance and have proficient knowledge of Excel, then some companies might also be willing to take you on board to assist in payroll.
Bagging a job is not a cakewalk, so do not get bogged down if you haven't received any calls from employers. Keep applying for jobs that are relevant as mentioned above. Be open to salary negotiations so that your profile is considered. You are at a juncture of finding a stepping stone, so do not be hasty or rigid; be open to something that will come across in a generalist profile for you.
Good luck!

MBA or diploma? Both are two different courses. Do you mean MBA distance learning or simply PGDHRM? What were the topics covered under that program?
Nevertheless, first, you need to know what statutory compliance is. There is no institute offering you it. Go through this link: https://www.citehr.com/93257-what-st...-download.html
