Dear Mr. Varun Vaghela,
Sorry for the delay.
It is compulsory to maintain the wage register after distribution of salary.Either you can maintain the wage register or the acknowledgement copy for the amount deposited for the Labors.

From India, Chennai
Dear Mr.Waghela,
As per the Contract Labour state rules, the principal employer has to affix his initials against each entry in the register of wages and further record a certificate at the end of the entries that the amount shown in the column has been paid to the worker in his presence. Please check the state rules of your concerned state for this rule.

From India, Pune
PFA copy of TN Govt's Gazette as per which an authorised person can sign @ the end of the wages register.
