My father worked in a private company for 20 years, and now the company fired him, citing that he is no longer useful to them, and they didn't give him the last 2 months' salary. When my father asked the company to fulfill their promise of providing the money after his retirement, the company denied making any promises. In addition, the company threatened to involve the police and jail my father. My father, being a weak-hearted man, is under a lot of stress.
As a private company, they never provided my father with any salary slips; all payments were made in cash. What options do we have now?

Collecting Evidence for Salary Dispute
You have to collect the cash voucher which he has signed while taking his salary. Additionally, you can ask about the account transactions that have been done for the month in Tally. This way, you will have proof of the transactions.

What a great suggestion! Will the person who has been terminated be able to receive cash vouchers from their employer?
Steps to Resolve Employment Disputes
In the event of Problem 123, if you believe that the dispute cannot be resolved with your father's employer, you should send a written demand notice to the employer and also provide a copy to the respective area conciliation officer.

First of all, you have to establish that your father is an employee and has been working for the last 20 years. There must be some evidence such as an ID card and leave memos, etc. If you could gather some information along with supporting evidence from co-employees, you can file a case in the Labour court. The Labour court always sides with the employee. You need not be afraid of any police case against your father. As long as you can get the support of your father's colleagues, you need not fear. Seek assistance from a good lawyer. You will receive proper redressal.
