I think that since the company is paying for your time you have to work for the benefit of the company.
1. You can change your work timing to match US
2. You can spend the morning session to prepare for your afternoon sessions. Improve your performance. Pick up on skills which will be useful for your job.
3. If the work does not require 8 hours you can consider it as a part time job (re negotiate your contract) and take up some other work part time.

arunaa, since ur not a graduate,, first concentrate on completing graduation ... which is the basic education,, then move on to developing skills,,, :wink:

Mee too thinking the same but what exactly my problem is I think am simply wasting my time and my company resource by sitting simply...

Hi Arunaa,
I am also working as Executive Secretary in a MNC. I suggest to give some time to Administration department / HR department. It will improve your skill inhouse as well as prepare u as a good administrator or AM (P&A) for your future to come.

I'll go with Hiten, U shud use ur time productively.
N da best way to do is enhance ur domain knowledge,
so best u cud do is enrol in distance education - now a days all is
e-based.
Infact u cud read books which wil enhance ur career, and certainly get into free lancing job.
This way u earn n learn.........
Ive seen alliance training solutions post on citehr a no of times regarding
job offers, so u cud get in touch with them....

speak to your boss about it .
First he will get impressed that atleast sombody is there who wants to work and utilising her time
Secondly he/she will will give you solution to it .Don't you think it will be more relevant

may be its too early for u to go to work,, graduation is very important,,,
so finish graduation first,, anyways there are many HR who are underqualified professional but just bcoz of comm. skills they are in the market, so focus on increasing ur knowledge ,, in the long run its not good, u need to have a good education ..
since u wanna do extraordinary study and acquire education which is the powerful of all :wink:
