Hi K. Ravi Kumar,
I am working in an instrumentation company. In my company, employees who earn 10,000/- or more do not have ESI deduction. However, my basic salary is 4,750/-, and my gross salary is 7,500/-. My payslip clearly shows the ESI deduction.
I kindly request complete information regarding ESI. Please assist me in this matter.
Thank you.

Dear friend,
As per the ESI Act, anyone earning less than 10,000/- is eligible for ESI. According to your email, you are receiving 7500/- per month, hence 1.75% will be deducted from your salary, and the employer's contribution is 4.75%.
If you need any further clarification, I am always available.
Thanks,
Krishna
