I resigned from my position at an organization on December 15, 2013. I am currently serving a two-month notice period as per the agreement between the company and me. When I inquired about the salary during the notice period, our HR Manager replied, saying, "Your December month salary will be processed on January 15, 2013, and the salary for January 2013 will be included in the Full and Final settlement."
I would like to know if it is appropriate for the organization to hold my salary for so many days.

The employer has no right to hold your salary during your resignation. They can hold it only if you have taken advances, incurred fines, caused damage, or experienced losses. Otherwise, they are obligated to pay your salary (for the 2-month notice period) before your departure and issue a relieving order as well.
