Dear Senior Members,

I just wanted to know the use of Form No. 5 & 10 in the PF withdrawal procedure, as the PF office is requesting the same. Additionally, could you please advise how many forms I will need to submit for the withdrawal of PF?

Thanks & Best Regards

When an employee joins the organization, we have to submit Form No. 5 and 10 along with the monthly return. Form 5 displays the new join information from the previous month, while Form 10 shows information about employees who have left in the previous month. The PF office matches the data with Form 3A.

Form 3A is the annual return submitted to the PF office during the duration of April to May with Form 6. When you receive a claim form from a former employee, you need to submit Form 3A, 5, and 10 along with the claim form.

Understanding Form 5 and Form 10 in the PF Act

Form 5 and Form 10 in the PF Act are used for different purposes. Form 5 is for the intimation of new joining, while Form 10 is for the intimation of an employee who has left the organization. When uploading a file through their website, there is no need to submit a separate document.
