I am confused about the bifurcation of minimum wage. Could you please enlighten me? Can minimum wage be bifurcated, and can HRA be included in the minimum wage? What is the correct base of minimum wages? Is it Basic + HRA = Minimum Wages? Also, how many days (year) does it take to change from unskilled to semi-skilled?

Minimum wage consists only of Basic and DA. It can't contain HRA. HRA is always payable over and above minimum wages (5 percent of the wages). Its object is to meet expenses towards the residential accommodation of the employee. Not all industries are liable to pay HRA.
